Most CNAs in my area wear different kinds of shoes. I remember, one of my co-workers said, ” Don’t buy expensive shoes when working as a CNA, it will not last long. Of course, when working as a CNA, it is part of our job to bring residents for “shower” everyday and our shoes get wet.
But my husband has a different point of view. He advised me to buy good quality shoes. One of his co-worker mentioned about a certain products that most of them have tested. They’re not working as a CNA of course. They were talking about taking care of your feet and your entire body. Walk comfortably and less stress. Since I started using this shoes, It really makes a great difference. I love walking, as if I was walking on my bed.

I’ve been wearing this pair of Danskos for 5 years and they’re still holding strong. The insole does feel a bit hard to me these days, so it needs a thin cushy insole. Otherwise, they look great, I run a polishing cloth thingy over them every couple months to add a bit of gloss to them. These Danskos were more expensive than other shoes, but they’re worth it, they’re great quality and built to last. They won’t fall apart on you.

As a nurse, I’m on my feet for most of my 8 hour shift. These shoes keep my feet comfortable all day and when I take them off at night, my feet don’t ache like they used to. I also don’t “walk-over” on my heels.
